EBCIM - Exército Brasileiro: Military Identification on Your Mobile
EBCIM is an Android app that offers the Military Identification Card (CIM) in a digital format. The app is supported by security solutions that provide "public faith" to the issued digital documents. The app contains personal identification data, and its presentation has the same legal validity as printed documents. EBCIM is managed by the Military Service Directorate (DSM) and is available to all registered Brazilian Army military personnel, pensioners, retirees, and dependents who have a physical CIM (in polycarbonate).
Developed by Centro de Desenvolvimento de Sistemas (CDS) in partnership with the Information Technology Division of the Command of the 1st Military Region, the system provides easy access to a digital version of the military identification card with validation through a QR code. In addition, the app allows users to securely access their CIM with authentication via GOV.BR login.
